As an Application Security Consultant at Mandiant, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality external network and web application assessments. You will also play an active role in cloud and mobile application testing, develop comprehensive reports for technical and executive audiences, and utilize attacker tactics to safeguard client systems. You will have the opportunity to work on dynamic cyber defense projects, including adversarial emulation engagements and application security testing.
Requirements and Necessary Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
- 3 years of experience in security areas such as network, web application/mobile, cloud, scripting, or tool development
- 2 years of experience with web application and network security testing
- Preferred certifications in offensive security (OSWE, BSCP, CWEE, OSCP, etc.)
- Experience in application security, offensive security testing, source code review, and more
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship management skills
Benefits and Salary
The base salary for this full-time position in British Columbia ranges from CAD 118,000 to 131,000, with additional bonuses, equity, and benefits. Google offers competitive compensation packages based on role, level, and location, ensuring that employees are fairly rewarded for their skills and expertise.
