Description: The Jr Developer Program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business intelligence engineering while receiving mentorship. Jr Developers work on impactful projects within an Amazon team, guided by a dedicated mentor. Successful completion of the program may lead to full-time employment at Amazon’s corporate sites in Seattle, WA.
Requirements and Necessary Skills:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Computer Science or related STEM discipline.
- Expected graduation date on or after Spring 2026.
- Ability to work part-time (16 hours/week) during the school year and full-time (40 hours/week) during the summer.
- Proficiency in SQL Concepts, databases, data warehouse concepts, data structures, and Python or other object-oriented programming languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced programming classes.
- Living within commutable distance to Seattle, WA.
Benefits and Salary:
Base pay for this position ranges from $15/hr to $75.63/hr, depending on geographic location and candidate experience.
