Join Amazon as a Jr. Software Development Engineer (SDE) and work on real software projects that make a difference to our customers. As part of our Jr Developer Program, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced software engineers, receive 1:1 mentoring, and gain valuable technical experience while working part-time during the school year and full-time over the summer.
Requirements and Necessary Skills:
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field
- Graduating between March 2026 and December 2027
- Programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, or C++
- Ability to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer in Seattle, WA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous technical internship experience
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical challenges and solutions
- Ability to think abstractly and solve ambiguous problems
Benefits and Salary:
Amazon offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.83/hr to $75.63/hr based on geographic location and job-related factors. In addition to base pay, employees may receive equity, sign-on bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, financial, and other perks.
