As a Software Developer at Google, you will work on next-generation technologies that impact how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. The role will involve developing large scale systems, distributed systems, networking, data storage, security, artificial intelligence, and more. Responsibilities include managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions.
Requirements and Necessary Skills
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with performance analysis, large scale systems, data analysis, or debugging.
- Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test development.
Benefits and Salary
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000, along with bonuses, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
