Job Summary

The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) serves as the primary access point for children’s social care in Oxfordshire, handling all safeguarding referrals. Collaborating with partner agencies, MASH swiftly identifies risks to vulnerable children and delivers timely interventions.

Main Duties

The Senior Practitioner role in MASH involves:

Reviewing referrals to determine appropriate responses to children’s needs.

Collaborating with a team of Senior Practitioners and managers to ensure clear, evidence-based decisions.

Working in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely and safe responses for children.

About Us

This key safeguarding position requires an experienced social worker with a minimum of three years post-qualifying experience in a child safeguarding role. Familiarity with busy duty and response environments is essential, with previous experience in a MASH team being desirable.
