Google is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their Infrastructure team within Google Cloud Platforms. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing the next-generation technologies that impact how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Responsibilities will include writing and testing product or system development code, participating in design reviews, reviewing code developed by other developers, and contributing to documentation and educational content.
Requirements and Necessary Skills
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience with software development in C++, and with data structures/algorithms
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
- 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role
- Experience developing accessible technologies
