Google is looking for a Software Developer II, Applied AI based in Waterloo, ON, Canada. The ideal candidate will work on next-generation technologies that will revolutionize how users connect, explore, and interact with information and each other. This role involves developing software critical to Google Cloud’s needs, with opportunities to switch teams and projects as the business grows and evolves.
Requirements and Necessary Skills

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- 1 year of experience with iOS application development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience in backend coding languages such as GOLang, Rust, or Java.
- Experience in Machine Learning (ML) model coding languages (e.g., Python).
