Job Description:
Google is looking for a Software Developer III to join their Google Ads team in Waterloo, ON, Canada. The successful candidate will work on developing next-generation technologies that connect users and businesses across the globe. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software, as well as managing individual project priorities and deadlines.
Requirements and Necessary Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred)
- 2 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, and/or debugging
- Experience developing accessible technologies
- Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis, resolution, and software test engineering
