Job Opening: Strategic Security Consultant at Mandiant, Google Cloud
Job Description: Mandiant, a part of Google Cloud, is seeking a Strategic Security Consultant to join their team. The consultant will be responsible for helping clients prepare for, mitigate, and respond to cyber security threats. This involves understanding computer science, operating system functionality, networking, cloud services, and corporate network environments to effectively combat cyber threats. The consultant will work on engagements such as incident response, forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage.
Requirements and Necessary Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3 years of experience in key security program functions
- 2 years of experience in cloud security and threat modeling
- Certifications in cloud or industry certifications preferred
- Experience in incident response, security operations, or cloud security
- Excellent communication skills

The base salary range for this full-time position in British Columbia is CAD 118,000-131,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. The salary is determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education.
