Job Description

Technical writers at Google play a crucial role in communicating complex information clearly, concisely, and accurately to both internal and external audiences. Responsibilities include writing technical documentation for developers, designing documentation sets for new features, editing and proofreading documents, and managing documentation projects. Technical writers act as a key link between developers, marketing associates, and external users, connecting different parts of the Google ecosystem.

Requirements and Necessary Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience creating content for technical audiences
  • Experience with writing for the web and Markdown, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications
