We are thrilled to introduce an incredible opportunity for high school students to kickstart their futures with the Amazon JumpStart youth apprenticeship program. This unique program offers part-time employment at our Arlington-HQ2 corporate office to students in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region. REQUIREMENTS AND NECESSARY SKILLS
- Currently pursuing a High School Degree (expected conferral date between May 2025 and May 2026)
- Attend a high school participating in CareerWise D.C./CityWorks DC apprenticeship programming model
- Ability to work 16 hours per week after school hours
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in at least one coding language: Python, C++, CSS, Java, JavaScript, HTML, C#
- Completed at least one foundational course in Computer Science (CS)
- Demonstrated interest/aptitude in coding through extracurricular activities
BENEFITS AND SALARY
This paid opportunity allows you to work after school Monday-Thursday, up to 16 hours per week, between 2:00pm-6:00pm ET.
