Amazon's fulfillment network is looking for a driven Area Manager II to lead hourly teams within our Fulfillment & Operations Management division in Hamilton, Ontario. You will oversee daily performance across safety, quality, and productivity while ensuring customer orders move smoothly through the first, middle, and last mile of our operations.
Your responsibilities
- Coach, support, and motivate a team of up to 80 hourly associates
- Oversee safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery targets
- Partner with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and HR teams to meet business goals
- Diagnose performance gaps using data analytics and lead process improvement initiatives
- Facilitate alignment meetings with senior leadership on department-wide objectives
Your profile
- At least 2 years of experience managing employees and performance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon employee experience
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and remain standing or walking for long shifts
- Comfort working in variable temperatures and noise levels, including outdoor loading areas
