An exciting opportunity has arisen at NTW Solutions Ltd for a Mechanical Craftsperson to join the Estates Team at Northgate Hospital. The position offers a £2.5K welcome bonus (terms apply). The role involves working in a multi-disciplinary team within the Estates Department.
Main Duties
- Conduct planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Carry out new installation work within healthcare premises
- Service various building systems including energy generating plants, air compressors, drainage/sewerage, ventilation, and more
- Undertake condition surveys of mechanical systems

Person Specification
Knowledge and Skills
- Completion of a recognized mechanically biased engineering apprenticeship
- Good knowledge of estate maintenance and health and safety legislation
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Flexibility and ability to manage workloads independently
Experience
- Experience in estates activities and mechanical engineering
- Practical experience in areas such as laundry equipment, boiler plants, ventilation, and more
Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent, City & Guilds in a mechanical-related subject, or equivalent qualifications
