The post holder is responsible for the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective Estates and Facilities services at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. The role involves managing the Trust’s infrastructure and ensuring a high-quality, cost-effective service.

Main Duties

  • Manage the Trust’s annual capital programme for Estates and Facilities.
  • Formulate the Estates and Facilities Operational delivery plan.
  • Oversee the maintenance and safety of the environment for patients and staff.
  • Act as the operational services specialist advising on policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to implement innovative solutions in healthcare delivery.
  • Lead on change management initiatives within the Estates and Facilities departments.

Person Specification

Qualifications & Education

  • Educated to master’s degree level or equivalent in Estates and Facilities Discipline.
  • Management Qualification or extensive proven experience in a senior management position.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Extensive senior management experience in the public or private sector.
  • Experience managing large teams and budgets.
  • Proven knowledge of PLACE standards & CQC compliance.

Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service understanding with a results-driven mindset.
