Main Duties of the Job
- Lead the nursing team in delivering patient-focused, research-based nursing care.
- Support the Ward Manager in staff management, including appraisals and supervision of junior staff.

- Foster a multidisciplinary approach to patient care aligned with Clinical Governance.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse on sub part 1 or 2 of the professional register.
- First degree or willingness to undertake further education.
- NMC recognised Mentorship qualification.
Experience
- Experience in supervising staff and mentoring students.
- Recent or extensive experience in an acute setting.
Knowledge & Skills
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
