The Coastal Partnership is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to take charge of two busy City surgeries, Beechcroft and Old Palace, following a recent restructure. This is a chance to shape the role, backed by a Reception Manager, a Senior Clinical Lead and a supportive Head Office team.
Your responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations and service delivery across both practice sites
- Manage a workforce of around 20 staff, including clinical and non-clinical teams, handling appraisals, absence and recruitment
- Oversee complaints handling and significant incident investigations, ensuring lessons are learned
- Maintain governance standards, CQC compliance and safeguarding processes
- Support financial oversight of staffing budgets and resource planning

Your profile
- Solid background in General Practice management, with an understanding of team, patient and service dynamics
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent management experience, with evidence of ongoing professional development
- Confidence leading multidisciplinary teams across more than one site
- Strong grasp of workforce planning, HR processes and performance management
- Ability to build effective relationships with PCN, ICB and wider healthcare partners
- A leadership or management qualification (e.g. ILM Level 5) would be an advantage
