Costco is looking for a Certified Pharmacy Clerk to join the pharmacy team at our Kitchener warehouse. In this role, you will support the pharmacist in daily operations while delivering friendly and efficient service to members at the pharmacy counter.

Your responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients at the counter, collect prescriptions, and process payments including cash, cheque, credit and debit transactions
  • Support the pharmacist by preparing prescriptions, counting, labeling and pricing medications under direct supervision
  • Update patient records and enter prescription data into the pharmacy system while maintaining confidentiality
  • Prepare third-party insurance claims and handle invoicing and accounting entries
  • Order, receive and stock prescription drugs, supplies and over-the-counter products, following storage and merchandising guidelines

Your profile

  • Completed pharmacy diploma from a community college or Costco Pharmacy Clerk certification
  • Provincial certification where required
  • Prior pharmacy experience is an asset and will be given preference
  • Strong computer, math and member service skills
  • Ability to communicate in French required for Quebec locations
