Walmart is looking for a Produce Department Manager to lead the produce team in Saskatoon and keep the department running smoothly for shoppers every day. This role blends hands-on leadership with customer-facing service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Receive merchandise, operate equipment safely, and keep accurate inventory documentation and logs
  • Maintain an appealing sales floor by stocking, rotating, and pricing products while removing damaged or expired items
  • Recruit, train, and develop produce associates to strengthen team performance
  • Greet and assist customers, helping them find products and make informed purchase decisions
  • Oversee Produce Store Within a Store operations, including inventory reports, ordering, and replenishment planning
  • Manage claims, returns, and shrink control while upholding safety standards

Your profile

  • Comfortable working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to stay focused and efficient during high-volume, fast-paced periods, including overnight tasks
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods, bending, and lifting items up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Detail-oriented when it comes to repetitive tasks like stocking and organizing products
