Join Our Pharmacy Team in Hereford

Tesco is looking for a dedicated Duty Pharmacy Manager to join our in-store pharmacy team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting patients and customers while helping to build a stronger, healthier community. You'll work closely with the Pharmacy Manager and wider store teams to deliver excellent healthcare services every day.

Your responsibilities

  • Dispense prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and private pharmacy services
  • Provide healthcare advice and guidance to customers
  • Support community outreach initiatives, offering advice to individuals at risk of or living with conditions such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing pharmacy colleagues
  • Help build strong relationships with Primary Care Networks and local GP surgeries
  • Ensure accurate processing of NHS payment claims

Your profile

  • You hold a Pharmacy Degree
  • You're passionate about leading and empowering a team
  • You are or are willing to become a registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • You're willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, with support provided if offered the role
  • You're able to complete a DBS check, which Tesco will organise before employment begins
