Tesco is looking for a Duty Pharmacy Manager to join its pharmacy team in Southend, helping deliver essential healthcare services and support to the local community. Your responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and private pharmacy services
- Provide healthcare advice and guidance directly to customers
- Support community outreach initiatives, offering advice to people at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with leading, training, and developing team members
- Help build strong working relationships with Primary Care Networks and local GP surgeries
Your profile
- A recognised Pharmacy Degree
- A genuine passion for team leadership and empowering colleagues
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, with support provided upon offer
- Successful completion of a DBS check prior to starting, arranged by Tesco
