Tesco is looking for a Duty Pharmacy Manager to join its pharmacy team in Southend, helping deliver essential healthcare services and support to the local community. Your responsibilities

  • Dispense prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and private pharmacy services
  • Provide healthcare advice and guidance directly to customers
  • Support community outreach initiatives, offering advice to people at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes
  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager with leading, training, and developing team members
  • Help build strong working relationships with Primary Care Networks and local GP surgeries

Your profile

  • A recognised Pharmacy Degree
  • A genuine passion for team leadership and empowering colleagues
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, with support provided upon offer
  • Successful completion of a DBS check prior to starting, arranged by Tesco
