Costco's warehouse in Kitchener is looking for a Bakery Wrapper to join its bakery team. In this hands-on role, you'll help finish, package and present fresh baked goods for members, all while keeping the department clean, organized and running smoothly.

Your responsibilities

  • Remove baked goods from containers and add icing, drizzle or glaze following standard formulas
  • Wrap and package products by hand or using a wrapping machine, assembling cardboard boxes as needed
  • Weigh and label items, setting aside any broken, underweight or defective goods
  • Move product using large wheeled metal racks and keep the sales area stocked, rotated and within health code limits
  • Support members by answering questions and directing them to bakery items or other warehouse locations

Your profile

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory
  • A Level 1 Food Safety Certification is required starting your first day on the job
  • No prior experience is necessary, as training is provided on site
  • Ability to stay on your feet, move product and work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment
  • Positions in Quebec require French language skills, both spoken and written
