Walmart is looking for a motivated Food Lead Department Manager to help drive smooth daily operations within the food department at our Saskatoon location. In this role, you will work closely with the Food Assistant Manager to keep the department running efficiently while delivering a great shopping experience for every customer.

Your responsibilities

  • Greet customers, assist with product selection, and resolve any concerns to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Coordinate and delegate daily tasks based on priorities set by store leadership
  • Monitor and maintain food department presentation, merchandising, and display standards
  • Support associate scheduling and coverage to ensure adequate staffing across the department
  • Contribute to training and development of food associates, offering feedback to support their growth

Your profile

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
  • Able to manage physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and cleanliness standards
  • Comfortable coordinating tasks and supporting a team of associates
