Dollarama is looking for a skilled AI Specialist to join its technology team and take ownership of artificial intelligence solutions running on Google Cloud Platform. This role centers on keeping large language model-based systems stable, efficient, and continuously improving, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders who rely on these tools.

Your responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate AI solutions deployed on Google Cloud Platform
  • Track the performance of AI pipelines, models, and related services
  • Coordinate updates to models, dependencies, and cloud environments
  • Run validation tests on models and pipelines following each update
  • Recommend and apply improvements such as fine tuning, prompt adjustments, and pipeline optimizations

Your profile

You bring at least five years of hands-on specialist experience, ideally within cloud-based AI environments. You are comfortable working independently on complex technical challenges and enjoy supporting colleagues in adopting AI tools effectively.

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform
  • Practical experience with large language models, including fine tuning and prompt engineering
  • Solid programming skills, particularly in Python, for model handling
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions or Cloud Build
  • Working knowledge of MLOps best practices
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, AI, or a related discipline
