Walmart is looking for an Asset Protection Associate to join the team in Westbank, helping keep the store safe, secure, and running smoothly for customers, staff, and visitors alike.

Your responsibilities

  • Patrol the store regularly to confirm doors, security features, and safety equipment are working properly
  • Investigate incidents of theft or shrink and report findings to store leadership or the loss prevention manager
  • Support internal and external investigations, including organized retail crime cases
  • Assist with emergency response procedures such as evacuations during fires or other incidents
  • Carry out external apprehensions when necessary, following company policy and legal requirements

Your profile

  • Comfortable working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to stay focused and energized during overnight hours
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Strong communication skills to relay information clearly to leadership and colleagues
  • Holds a valid Security Guard License
