Walmart is looking for a GM Lead Department Manager to help guide the General Merchandise and Fashion teams in Tsawwassen. In this role, you will work closely with the Assistant Manager to keep departments running smoothly, support associates, and ensure customers have a great shopping experience.

Your responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with product questions, purchase decisions, and issue resolution
  • Coordinate daily tasks and priorities communicated by the Assistant Manager and Store Management Team
  • Monitor department presentation and merchandising standards, correcting issues as needed
  • Oversee completion of customer availability tasks and support scheduling needs
  • Assign associates to cover store areas and participate in training and feedback for the team

Your profile

  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and manage priorities across a team
  • Comfortable delegating, training, and giving feedback to associates
  • Attention to detail for merchandising and safety standards
